Hi everyone.

I'm sort of a computer noob, but I have been experiencing problems with my gpu (I think). For the last several months off and on, I would play World of Warcraft and suddenly the screen would get white checkers across it and then crash my PC. Other times, the game would get the white checkers but an error message saying: AMD video card has stopped responding, but has recovered." This can occur hours after playing or instantly, or sometimes, my computer will go weeks without crashing. It has now also started to crash while watching youtube or Netflix. I have tried updating all drivers cleanly and clearing out dust. I have been running speed fan and at the time of the crash, the GPU temps are between 45-50C, but I don't know how accurate that is. Are all these things attributed to gpu death? I am looking to either get a new gpu or power supply because I can't tell what is causing the problem, but have no idea what to buy. I cannot afford to buy a new tower. Please help! Below are all my specs:

Personally (if you have a pcie x16) i would go with a GeForce graphics card. All of them that are about $100 up are good. Now just make sure that you have a power supple that is powerful enough for it. Ask questions if you have them!
