I have recently built a new computer, i have very low FPS in games I don't know if its the windows 8.1 or card. I felt like i had better performance on my R9 290 with windows 7 but I RMA'd that card. but i see drops to 16 - 30fps where my friend sees 55 fps with the same graphics card.
CPU: FX 8350 ( O.C to 4.5 GHS)
GPU: Gigabtye GTX 970 Gaming G1
RAM: Ram 2x 4G DDR3 (1600Mhz)
SSD: 240 GB Kingstin
motherboard: 970 extreme3 R2.0
I have a 750 wat psu
I have a water cooler and 3 extra case fans
Ive tried overclocking the card. I driver sweeped the drivers and re-installed them i just cant seem to work out why my fps is so much lower.
