My specs:
A-10 6800k quad-core 4.1 ghz
8GB RAM
Radeon HD8670 integrated GPU

My MOBO is an MSI 7778 with a PCIE x16 2.0 slot. What is the best graphics card I can get that's compatible with my motherboard? I have a 600W power supply so that shouldn't be an issue.

entry level is the 750ti. right now is the 180.00 range is the amd r280. the nvidia 960 is also a good card it a 120w low power card. also look online the amd r300 line is dropping soon. may want to wait see how it lines up to there older card in wattage and speed.

Yea I figured my CPU is going to be my new bottleneck once I get my new video card. Right now I'm leaning toward an R9 270x or 280. How much of a performance boost can I expect? (I'm currently using the integrated GPU, and everything I've read says discrete GPUs are miles better than integrated GPUs)

One important caveat I probably should've mentioned: My gaming resolution is only 900p (1440 x 900) due to my monitor, and I'm not planning on getting a new monitor anytime soon. With that in mind, what's the best card I could get until bottlenecking from my CPU becomes an issue?
