I own a NP-550 Samsung laptop , and yes this laptop overheats A LOT , and i mean it , without overclock it reaches 90 degrees celsius , so i decided to do a MOD to the Case since i notice that the components and the heatsink are VERY poorly designed , so i modded the case and now running games like EVIL WITHIN or AC UNITY all to medium high settings , the temps are below 70 celsius , i can overclock the core clock and the memory clock but i cant seem to unlock the voltage section or the fan speed section of afterburner .
Currently works great with this overclocing settings .
- Core Clock at @1085 Mhz / ( Stock is 835 Mhz )
- Memory Clock at @1000 Mhz
With the modding of the case i can lower even more the temps so , i really want to play arround with the volts since i know i can get better results , even tho this is a "old" graphics chip is awsome i been able to play almost anything in high or medium at LEAST without problems .
The settings can be unlocked ? for this particular model ? .
