Need help cooling down cpu, pc in general.

Hey guys,
I need some help upgrading my cpu fan. Its a stock one and its been in use for nearly 3 years now. My CPU is overheating and my games are being affected, let alone my CPU might be getting damaged. I want a decent fan and heatsink if necessary for under $50 if possible. Just don't know where to start and if im getting a good deal and product!! Would appreciate the help

Nvidia GeForce GTX560 1GB
Windows 7 64 bit
Motherboard - AsustTeK M5488-M

Ok cool, they seem pretty cheap? Willing to pay a bit more if its going to be worth it? Also is that guaranteed to fit do you know?

Also on a side note, do you know of any cheapish cpus that would be better then the one ive got? Its seems to be a bit outdated.
