i need help to upgrade my hardware

My specs are:
Gigabyte h61m d2 b3
Intel pentium G620
6 gb
500 gb hard disc
no graphics card

I am on a big dilema whether i should uprade my mobo and cpu with z97 and a g3258 which will cost me 200€ or too buy the r9 280 graphics card

The 280 with that setup would be pointless because your other hardware would be a bottleneck in most games.

it will be a huge overkill to purchase a r9 280

better go for a h97 and i3 or i5 with a graphics card

Get something like a GTX 750 Ti, save the rest to go towards a cheap H81 motherboard + i5 4440/4460.

A r9 280 would be so held back by your cpu it wouldnt be worth it.
