My Basic Setup is:
Intel Core i7-3770
16GB RAM
EVGA Nvidia GTX770 Classified
ASUS P8Z77-v LK (Mobo)
Corsair TX850M PSU
I'm worried about the Temperature that my CPU is showing while on the desktop. With minimal things running, my CPU's load is fluctuating between 6% and 30%. That being said, I'm getting a reading of 39-52 Deg C on my CPU Temp.
I just installed the Corsair H80i Liquid CPU cooler and it boasted an idle temp of 25 Deg C at Idle... with a 47 Deg C under max load (aka 100%)... I'm no where near max load and already killing it(negatively, imo) on temperature monitor... Which worries me slightly.
My GPU temp at idle currently sits at an even 34 Deg C, not moving, 0% load. But the CPU temp fluctuates like crazy. One second its 38, the next its 51, shortly followed by 43, 39, 49, 52, 38... Etc. And its all a matter of seconds/upon refresh. Would this be a Thermal Paste issue? Is there reason to be concerned?
The program giving me the readings is the Corsair Link Software.
Fan speed as well sits at 2350 RPM for the thing... It's not really noisy, just not sure if this is normal. All my other fans in the case sit at half the RPMs.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have the Zalman z11 Plus case, it's bit of a tight fit with the hoses in the case. No kinks, but installation felt a bit tight/tricky when seating the Heat sync on to the CPU. The hose wanted to lift on one side while installing so I'm worried that maybe the thermal paste didn't sit right during installation . I kept it as steady as I could. I'm hoping I don't have remove the thing again and Re clean the CPU of thermal paste, and re apply it on my own, only to mess it up even worse. The H80i conveniently came with the paste pre-applied and spread evenly. If I messed that up, could only imagine if I had to put my own dab on. (I had done it before with other Syncs, but this Hose fights against the placement inside the case.)
