Hi guys
Yesterday me and my friend figure out to upgrade my PC with his RAM (he doesnt have a graphic card), but what we didnt noticed was that his ram frequency was too high for my mobo, so we fitted 2400Mhz to 2133Mhz limited mobo. After we turned PC on there was no signal to the screen, we than switched back to my old RAM but that didnt help.
I cleared CMOS, tried different RAM slots with 1 and 2 sticks
I know that fault is in mobo because i switched to my old one and everything works.
CPU was overclocked to 4.2 Ghz
Is there anything else i can try to fix it
My specs:
Motherboard: MSI 970 gaming
CPU: AMD fx-8230
RAM: Corsair value select 1333Mhz 2x2Gb
RAM that we used: Corsair Vengance Pro 2400Mhz 2x4Gb
