I currently have 2x GTX 660 Ti SLI and am looking to upgrade in May. Should I go with the GTX 980 or wait until next year for Pesca?

Here is my current setup:
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus V Gene
Graphics Card (GPU): 2x Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti SC/OC (1 EVGA and 1 Asus)
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k @4.2ghz
Memory (RAM): Corsair Vengeance 16gb @1600mhz
Power Supply (PSU): Corsair TX750m
Chassis/Case: Corsair Carabide 400r
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 250GB
Mechanical Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
and 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black
CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I don't mean to sound rude, but, do you have a reason to upgrade? Are you not getting the performance you want?

I can't in good faith recommend you change out your current cards for a 980. The performance difference, while there, wouldn't really be worth the price. When your SLI setup is performing at its best, I'd say it's performance is equivalent to a single GTX 970. And that's pretty darn good.

Waiting for the Nvidia's next architecture would be my suggestion, but maybe someone else can suggest otherwise.

A Gtx 970 will give you all you need at that res and refresh rate. It will obviously take much less power and generate less heat and noise too.

You can consider waiting for a x3xxx to see what it is like, how much it is and also what it does to the price of all other cards
