I think my PSU is faulty, since I upgraded the CPU

OK so basically yesterday I replaced my CPU with a newer version and did some cable management. After I put it all back together I plugged it in and turned it on, it started up fine but then restarted randomly. This was weird because I didn't even have a monitor plugged in so I didn't know what happened, so I just turned it off and unplugged.

I got the pc to my room and plugged everything in, it started up and everything looked fine and it was working but I loaded up a game and it just shut down. When It came back online it said something like "asus anti serge something something, unstable power supply on last power on" So I loaded up the pc again tried to open something again, and it shut down same message. Third time.. turn it on, afraid to open anything, open a game to play with my friends, it works fine no shut downs for like 2 hours then i go to sleep.

Today I power on the computer and browse the web, it shuts down with the message again. I've tried to look around for how i can test things out without taking my computer apart again. On HWmonitor I see the Voltages but have no idea what is bad and what isn't.

Thanks in advance

I'd recommend the XFX XXX Edition Pro Series 650W (P1-650X-XXB9):

It's all about the electrical output quality and build quality.

The Corsair CX600M only has a 3 Year Warranty whereas the XFX P1-650X-XXB9 has a 5 Year Warranty because the XFX PSU is built with higher quality components.

Im not really sure how to do that other than speccy so here goes.

Cpu - Amd fx 8350 4ghz

Ram - 8GB (2x4gb) hyperx fury 1866mhz

Motherboard - ASUSTeK Computer INC. - M5A78L-M/USB3 (AM3R2) - 780G

GPU - Sapphire amd radeon HD 7800 series (7850)

Storage - Seagate 2TB (I think its barracuda)

Optical drive - Broke randomly driver doesnt update the driver ( I should probably unplug that)

Audio? - G230 headset in the back panel

Peripherals - Keyboard (backlit), mouse (led button), Graphics tablet, webcam and printer.

Network is just an ethernet plugged into the motherboard (cat6)

Power supply - Ace black edition - 750BR (really cheap.. may have been a bad idea to buy this)

If there is any programs I can get more detailed specs from I will.

Here are the voltages right now just having chrome open

Your system's shut down symptoms point to insufficient power.

The Ace A-750BR Black Edition only has one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector. This is a big warning sign to stay away from it.

There's just no way that it is a 750W PSU. Selling PSUs using its peak power rating (a.k.a. liar label) is another warning sign. Its claimed +12 Volt current capacity of 37 Amps is extremely low for a 750W PSU (e.g. a reputable 750W PSU would have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 62 Amps).

Test with a better power supply unit.

Don't go by what HWMonitor is showing you. It's completely wrong about the voltages. It doesn't interpret your motherboard's sensor chip signals properly. If the voltages were really that low your system would not even power on.

Would you recommend just buying a new psu? I was thinking of getting the Corsair Builder Series CXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU If 600w is enough
