Help with bottlenecks, gpu, etc

ok so im a newbie to pc gaming. I built austin Evans Boson http://austinnotduncan.com/builds/boson/ (which i completely regreted) and bought a sapphire r7 260x to upgrade it. I can run Battlefield 4 at medium settings average of 30 fps. Is my gpu bottlenecked by my cpu? what kind of budget do you have to work with
the 260x should get about 60fps on medium but i bet your ram is also a culprit get another 4 gb stick

Well that motherboard has a AM1 socket

That's the best AM1 socket
Can't do any upgrades, sorry

You can either switch to a AM3 or FM2 motherboard

If you go FM2, go with the x4 860k
It's some monster

no there is no cpu that will fit your mobo that will really help get the ram it will definitely help then save up bud for like 150 bucks at microcenter you could get a fx 8320 and a decent mobo it will make a world of difference

most modern games want more than 4 gbs of ram

No, for the FX 8320e you would need an AM3+ motherboard. But it's a moot point really, I recommend the 860k over the 8320e, it's much newer and has better single core performance which matters the most when gaming. Not to mention, it's also cheaper.

I wouldn't get that mobo, it's an A58 chipset and it's a very small one which hinders how you can upgrade it, you want an 88X chipset like one of these:
