I got this GPU 4 months ago. I've played Borderlands 2, CIV 5, GTA V, GTA IV and usually got an average of about 40fps+ in game, and more on the main menu.
But just yesterday the frame rate has been cut in half or even more. I have the latest updates for my mobo and CPU plus I even uninstalled and reinstalled the Nvidia Drivers but to no avail. Before this FPS drop happened I had my Nvidia Geforce Experience settings to Optimal and had 40fps+ on these games.
Though I did try installing a hard drive to my computer and might've moved the GPU fan/heat sink. I'm not sure if this is a thermal paste and/or heat sink issue. If it is how can I fix it properly?
