When I'm playing games and the temp gets to around 60C, the fps drops considerably. Windows 7, how do I stop my laptop from doing this?

Solution
Get a good laptop cooler from a reputable brand. I will look for recommendations and post them later.

Also check for noises indicating bad fans and clean your laptop from dust by blowing compressed air through the vents. Check out this link for more info: http://laptop-coolers-review.toptenreviews.com/mobile/

The simplest way is to use a cooling pad. The other way is to lower the settings for the game. 60 is generally ok when gaming which tells me that either the cpu or gpu are throttling. If that is the case you can't really do much except lower the settings and keep the laptop cool.
