Hello, since I haven't exactly finished building my new computer, or at least haven't bought everything, I have been using a laptop for my gaming. For some reason in the passed few months it has been randomly shutting down after about 15-30 minutes of playing some games, but only certain ones cause it to, these include Counter Strike:Global Offensive, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, just recently ArmA 3, and a few more I cant think of at the moment. I have been monitoring the temperatures and they range around 70-80 degrees Celsius, sometimes going higher to maybe 85, but I honestly have no idea what could be causing it. My specs are:
I7 3630qm 2.40Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GT 635m
Intel HD graphics (Integrated)
8GB of RAM
Windows 8 64 Bit
This should be my computer model: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-N56VJ-15-Inch-Laptop-VERSION/dp/B009M2X8OW
So not the best specs but I can run a few games at decent fps. I also have checked on other posts to see if any of them can fix it but no luck so far. Any help is much appreciated since I cant seem to figure this out.
Thanks, Tim. (If this is the wrong section to post please let me know so I can correct it next time)

You shouldnt play games on a business grade laptops, especially the slim ones because they barely provide any airflow to the components inside causing them to overheat. If your going to be playing the games try to play without the battery on, plug the charger to it directly, and also you might want to invest in a laptop cooler. They are quite cheap on amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Laptop+cooler

Thanks for the reply. I have tried what you said and the temperatures seemed to have dropped a bit, but like I said, I am also building an actual gaming computer hopefully pretty soon, just trying to keep this one going for as long as possible haha. I also didn't have any idea this was a business grade laptop until you told me this, mainly because when I bought it I had very little knowledge on computers, but since I know now, I doubt i'll be playing many more intensive game from now until then. Again, thanks for the help.
