Hi all,

I've been trying to figure out why my internet speeds are slow on my desktop (about 9 mbps when other computers and wireless devices are getting 30) for some time. My desktop is on the other side of the house from the router and had chalked it up to range issues but after finally trying to connect my desktop directly to the router via ethernet cable, I am now certain the problem lies with my motherboard.

I built this computer a little over a year ago but never could figure out how to update the drivers for it (which as I understand is separate from updating the BIOS?) so I never did. I see on the ASROCK site where to download drivers but have no idea how to install them or even which drivers I NEED to install to fix my problem. Here is the link to the motherboard on ASRock site:

Is there anybody that can give me a walkthrough on what I need to do? Like I said, not only am I unsure how to update/install motherboard drivers, but I also don't know which ones I need to fix my problem. I am running Windows 7. Thank you very much in advance!

Solution
Updating the drivers didn't do anything, BUT uninstalling some software that came with the motherboard called "fastLAN" or something did; I am now running at full speed. Thanks for your help!
