Hello to all users, I was thinking about doing some overclock but I don't know how to do it.

My computer specs:

Intel i5 4690K
Asus R9 290x
16Gb G.skill 1600Mhz Ripjaws
Asus maximus VI Gene
Cooler Hydro H80i
XFX Modular Pro 850W xxx Edition

I've seen on my bios some overclock profiles but I don't know which one is the best. I don't have MSI AfterBurner or GPU Tweak. I had some problems with GPU Tweak so I had to reinstall windows because I couldn't remove it (even on safe mode). I appreciate all help given. Thanks to all.

You are talking about OCing the GPU then? Not the CPU? If so, just take it up slowly (the GPUs base clock). and keep notes of what you've done, when it crashes, then you want to add a little voltage, same there, go slowly and test as you go could run FurrMark or something like the Heavan Benchmark

I also want to do it with the CPU, do you recommend me using gamers profile on my bios? Or should I do it by myself?
So I need to make the gpu base clock higher and then the voltage. What program shoul I use to do this? Do I need to restart my computer everytime I change it? It will give me an error message after it crashed? Sorry about this many questions.
