I currently have a generic 450/550 PSU, i find it descent since according to joulemeter, my pc watts consumption never goes over the 100w, to give you a better idea, this is my pc build:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 4GB RAM
GPU: Msi GeForce GT 740

Everything seems to work nice, but recently i've been thinking about buying another GT 740 to make SLI, an AOC i2367Fh monitor, and a new keyboard ( Razer BlackWidow Chroma ), i've seen that the GT 740 only consumes 64w, but i can't seem to find how much watts does that monitor and that keyboard consume. I want to know if i should go and buy a better PSU, though for the moment i find it kinda of unnecessary.

Please avoid making jokes about my pc going to explode or that im going to have a fire, i want mature opinions from people who are more experienced than me on this topic.

Solution
For that CPU and graphics card configuration, I would not bother unless that random PSU starts giving trouble.

But if you were to upgrade to a more stout graphics card, definitelt get a quality PSU.

Yeah, only one last question, i've heard that descent PSU's turn off when they can't handdle the watts, but some other people also say that generic PSU's like mine when they can't handdle the watts they just fry most of my pc components and that got me a bit scared, could you confirm me if this is true? and if it is, will my pc have that kind of issue?

take a picture of this PSU including the output table and post it here.
