Mad Catz MC2 steering wheel deadzone on GTA V PC

Im having some trouble with my steering wheel (Mad Catz MC2) in GTA V on pc, the deadzone is just too high. I think the problem has someting to do with the wheel being interpreted as a standard controller, as they need a deadzone for the sticks, and there being no deadzone when playing on the xbox.

Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

I've got a Logitech G27 and I followed this guys tutorial and it worked perfectly.

Keep in mind GTA V is not optimized to be played with the steering wheel so you may run into some little visual bugs such as the in game character spinning the wheel to slow and isn't in sync with your wheel.
