Hey there--I've already posted about this. [http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2547493/efficient-fan-replace-stock-fan-cooler-master-hyper-212-evo.html] However, after two months of hesitation, and on my way to the well-suggested NF-F12, I came across two other choices. Just wanted to discuss those with you here and then go for the purchase.

No. 1 - The NF-P14r [http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=90&lng=en]

This one would cost me a bit less than the NF-F12, plus, it is a designed CPU fan, so that might come as handy, in contrast to the NF-F12, which is after all, a dedicated case fan. The only thing that could be a problem is it's a 140mm model, but again, as stated on Noctua's website, it has got 120mm mounting holes, so I'm assuming it won't be a problem for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO?

No. 2 - Deepcool GAMMA Archer [http://www.deepcool.com/product/cpucooler/2013-12/7_459.shtml]

Okay, I don't intend to use the whole cooler, just the fan. If it would be possible, wouldn't it? I mean to dismount the fan and use it with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO? Needless to mention, this would cost me a lot less than the other two, hence it's a cooler and not merely a fan.

Once again, I don't manually OC my FX-6100 (just using the turbo mode, which goes all the way up to 3.9Ghz) and I have my PC on 24/7/365 and game quite a lot. In a nutshell, no aggressive OCs planned with this.

Thanks in advance

That's particularly great to hear... just one last thing: you sure it won't be a problem dismounting GAMMA Archer's fan and using it with the Cooler Master? I'm asking cause I've never done this and this just came to my head -- not even anybody has suggested anything similar in threads on the Hyper 212 EVO; they were all into case fans as far as I've read 'em.

Nanoxia Deep Silence models are very good, but not sure how widely available they are.
I've bought lots of Corsair water coolers, replace all the stock fans with NDS PWM. Ditto
the stock fans in Antec cases.

My main gripe with Noctua is so many of their fans look utterly ugly, and they're expensive.
I have some NF-P12s, so I know they do work very well, but ouch the price and horrible
colour scheme...

Hey Ian, I wasn't able to find any of those Nanoxia Deep Silence ones where I live, but thanks for the suggestion.

By the way, the GAMMA Archer's fan, though 120mm, was incompatible with the Hyper 212 EVO, and I eventually had to dismount the front (stock) fan of my chassis (also Cooler Master; K380) and use it along with a DeepCool case fan(XFAN 120) on the Hyper 212 EVO (which does support two fans afterall), add a rear fan to the chassis and another in the front to maintain some good air flow. Using Prime95 I then ran a torture test for half an hour to check the temps and it barely crossed 39 degrees.
