First off, thanks for reading.
I just purchased a Dell Inspiron, and I decided to play some games to kill time.
I thought for the price I paid, and the general specs of it, I could some of the latest games on it.
I tried Far Cry 4, but it was seriously choppy. Even games as old as Battlefield 3 don't run smoothly unless on the lowest settings.
My guess is that software is using the integrated Intel GPU instead of the dedicated Radeon one.
I know that my Radeon GPU has about 4 gigs of RAM, which should be enough for Battlefield 3.
But often, when I open up software such as Photoshop or even GPU-Z, I get a notification bubble saying the Intel drivers have crashed (and recovered), the reason for which is still beyond me.
Here are the specs from CPU-Z and some of the graphics card using GPU-Z.

And my GPU, which says it has 0 MB of memory, but as far as I know this is an error in GPU-Z.

I tried updating drivers, but then I completely lost the option for switchable graphics, so I had to rollback.
I've had this problem on my previous HP Pavilion laptop as well. It seems like Radeon hates me for some reason. Do you suggest I take it back to the store?
Any solutions are greatly appreciated...
