Additional memory would benefit me? (only have one 4GB 1600mhz)

So my build is
Fx 6300
Sapphire r9 280 Dual-X OC edition
620w Seasonic PSU
with only one stick of G.Skill Sniper 1600Mhz 4gb

So my question is this:
For triple A titles (or any game that actually requires additional ram) would there be a difference if I'd add another stick of 4gb ram? And if there would be, how much of a difference are we talking about here?

How much of a FPS/ general performance are we talking about?
And yes, always the same model :D

?????????? VRAM and system DRAM are two completely different things. As to the question, yes, depending on the games you play additional system DRAM would be advantageous as it can allow to play at higher settings. More and more newer games are calling for for upwards of 8GB of system DRAM. VRAM is what is on your video card

So.....With an additional stick of the same 4GB ram I would eliminate a lot of stuttering and FPS dips, which I have been noticing A LOT with high end games. Ok, time to go buy more ram.

I didn't realise I put VRAM instead of RAM/DRAM.

Just a typo.
