Confused as to how to uninstall Windows 8.1 (32-bit) to install Windows 8.1 (64-bit) instead.

I have a computer, parts are listed here.

I accidentally installed 32-bit instead of 64-bit, and now I have no idea how to switch. I've read a lot of similar threads on these forums, but none of them have helped because I don't know what any of you are talking about! I think I need specific, layman instructions.

I'm using the discs - I have one disc for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. Also, since it's a new computer with not much on it (just some downloads like Steam), I'm planning on not backing anything up (since I don't have an external hard drive to back it up on). Is that a potential problem?

Thanks for any help in advance. I'm really stuck!
