16gb RAM installed, only 12228mb usable and BIOS shows RAM at 2133mhz while I purchased it at 2666Mhz.

I have corsair vengeance lpx 2666mhz 16gb. I just built the system yesterday, and since the first boot it had showed an incorrect ram speed(2133mhz) and only shows 12gb as useful memory. The rest of my system specs are:
i7-5930k
Titan X
Asus Rampage V
Corsair RM1000
Samsung 850 Pro 512gb .

Dumb thought, did you get them all seated correctly? I'm assuming you have 4x4 chips. If they are seated correctly, does your board have 8 dimm slots? If so, move ram to different slots. If that fails, pull 2 dimms and see what happens. Then pull the other 2.

Does his CPU have an IGP? I don't think you can use XMP if you have an odd number of DIMMs. Maybe I'm wrong, I've never tried.
