Hey guys,

I am building a rig, and came across these parts and felt they might be really good. But since I'm quite literally just an amateur (first year of gaming - don't ask me why), I wanted to get your views.

Well here are the specs:-

PROCESSOR : AMD fx6300
MoBo : Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PV
Graphics Card : Galaxy GeForce GT740
RAM : Corsair Vengence DDR3 4 GB 1600 Mhz
Hard Drive : Seagate Barracuda (1 TB 5400 rpm)
Monitor : BENQ GW2255HM

and don't worry about the keyboard and mouse and cabinet, coz i have already bought those.

Note that I am in India so not many parts are actually available.

Thanks already guys!!:D

Take a look at this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/QKGkHx

The components are essentially same. The ram is one the best I have used and the HDD is good. The prices are in USD but it should be within your budget of 30k INR.

With a 30k budget you should be able to get a better GPU. Have you tried flipkart.com they have good deals sometimes. Try for a r9 270x or a GTX 750. The ram is good but could be better with 8 GB but I don't think your budget will cover that.

Edit: Also 5400 rpm HDD is a bad option. Try to get 7200 rpm HDD even if it costs more.

hmm...but if I go in for a better GPU, like the ones you have mentioned, won't the power required also go higher, and I might even need to buy a separate cooler for the rig??

And yes, the 7200 rpm is actually true, thanks for that.

As you have not mentioned any PSU I cannot comment on power needs but the GTX 750 is a 1st gen maxwell card. They are very power efficient in fact this model does not need any extra power pins from the PSU. It gets all its power from the PCIex16 slot it is connected to. The AMD r9 270 will need extra power. However it is not high enough to need extra cooling fans. What I am more worried is your budget. You might not be able afford either card without a 2-5 k increase in money. I am at class now so I vlcant search for accurate prices I will do so when I get home if you want.

It is good enough. I will just suggest you to change one thing - the GPU.
If you consider going for the GTX 750TI or atleast the GTX 750. You will find the GTX 750 around Rs 7-8k and GTX 750TI for around Rs 10k. The power requirement is really low and even a 450W PSU will be enough.
