Guys I just lost 422GB of my data is there any way I can retrieve it at all? I cannot do system restore as the last time I created a point was 2 months ago AKA 200GB ago. Sp PLEEASSE if anybody knows a fix and would be angelic enough to find a solution I would thank them SOOO MUCH. I have high-school projects on my drive that are VERY important to meeee and if somebody helps me I will literally send them free cookies. Please with all my heart I don't even want to close my computer now to see if there would be a fix.

Examples of somethings I lost - School presentation files with A+'s on them I wanted to keep for the future, 80%+ of my steam games ( WAAAAA :'( I wasn't even done Bioshock infinite, Dying Light and Dragon Age Origins), and some old videos from my video cameras (even videos since I was a baby).

If somebody would be the angel to fix my problem, I would seriously...like seriously send them cookies. PLEASSEE.

Also, this is not an OS drive, just an extra 1TB "extras" Seagate drive AND it is left un-allocated.

Well actually I got somewhere else. Apparently my last restore point was 2 hours ago BUT since my Partitioned 500GB was completely wiped out, it does not detect the drive...what do I do then considering I have a restore point?

I'm actually still running a deep scan with that right now. I have ANOTHER problem. My HDD got converted to a dynamic disk. So does that mean, it's impossible now?

Ok never mind that, I successfully converted back to basic disk, what is left to be done is the data. I tried recuva and that didn't even bring up the partition that I deleted to become unallocated space. So I'm left to try test disk...

I'm confused with how this program works as it is on the command line interface. It's really tough...

I tried guys but nothing came up on testdisk (after finally finding out how to use it). It's going to need the whole night to scan close to 600GB. It's been 5 minutes and at 0%. ALSO, I cannot convert from dynamic to basic disk because EaseUS needs to be activated and as a 14yo, I can't afford $40.

After the testdisk I will have no choice but to say that I MAY have failed to recover.

OK another problem, testdisk was scanning the wrong partition last night :/

Now it can't even detect it and my drive still remains dynamic. What to doooooo :'(

Recuva couldn't recover anything either.. :(

The drive is not an OS drive though and at the moment all I have are my documents, videos, and music. I won't open those. I just lost ALL my game data basically.

So what do I do now?

I guess it's better ripping money out of my parents' wallets for something like this...it depends. Anything would do. Considering I still have my save data I am only moderately angry right now.
