GTA V Problems! Textures dont load. Help please

So GTA V Just doesnt load textures when driving around.

Any reccomendations? Ive tried reddit, rockstar support and still no reply from anyone.

problem due to running out of vram? just a guess

You should try to reduce the texture settings from high to normal to be inside the limitation of that 2GB VRAM.

thats texture pop mate. normally its caused by a slow hdd. try defragging your hdd. if it gets better then use something like ultimate defrag to move the game to the outside edge of the hdd disk platter. (that part of the disk is widest so has more space for sectors and blocks so reads and writes data quicker. sometimes it can be the difference between texture pop and smooth texture updates).

if its on ssd then defragging wont help and means its likely a result of the low core count on the cpu.

All the settings are on medium. I Only got the HDD is Feb so its probably the cpu. *sigh*

mate 4 months is a long time on a pc if its your primary partition and is used every day.
if you cant find ultimate defrag then use a free 1 piriform defraggler and autodefrag are 2 of the best and dont come with addware or anything like that...

try 1 or both... (only use 1 at a time and after a reboot)

I performed a disk defrag and it was not degragmented. Said it was ok. Thanks but I think its my CPU.

then if its a 7200rpm it should be ok assuming it only has 2 partitions max on it.

that cpu isnt terrible when oc'd, but your looking at 4ghz or faster to make it compete with an half decent i3 so maybe try overclocking before you give up.

Yeah its a 7200rpm HDD.

How would I go about Overclocking safely? Dont want to break anything.
