I'm trying to build my first gaming PC and I need help and advice to buy very cheap parts but that are still amazing enough to run medium or high setting and thats upgradable later on. Looking to buy piece by piece over time what to start with and what can be left for last.

Going to be tough.

Do you have any parts you can use? (Monitor, keyboard, DVD drive, OS, cabinet)
Are you buying in the USA, and if not where? It affects part choices.
Would you use a refurbished system or parts?

you will probably get mATX for your money, but at this budget, you must buy cheap.

Here's an off-the-wall option.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883798023&cm_re=refurbished_computer_desktop-_-83-798-023-_-Product Decent price refurbish computer.

This card http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-02gp43753kr costs $120 with rebates and this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-n750ti2gd5oc costs $110. It would give you a decent system.

This is not too bad, but over budget, and I would rather have a better CPU and motherboard.

No need for a GPU for this built since the AMD APU also contains integrated Graphics which is efficient enough to run latest games in mud-high settings without any problem.

I'm back to thinking of a refurb with a GPU.

$350 will not get you a system with a decent GPU. (or at least a GPU that will give you 1080p gaming at high)

The APU system above is a decent choice and needs no GPU. I have a GTX750ti and cannot get 1080p high on every game, and even medium can be slow. I need to drop AA completely is some cases.

If you mean me, because it's a computer built for my wife. She doesn't need it.

I'm building a GTX 970 based system at school for myself :)
