I have an ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 mobo. Everything seems to be connected just fine (from what I see).

At first I thought my gpu wasnt working properly. My monitor was saying no signal. I tried a different cable, then a different monitor with both cables. My screen does acknowledge that there is no connection to a gpu.

Ive tried a few gpu's, though, a GEForce 620, a Zotac GT610, and Im not sure what the 3rd is.. All low end, just to get graphics going, since the mobo doesnt have onboard graphics. Each one I use, the fan powers on. I even plugged a network card in a ci-e slot and it lights up.

so I removed the ram, hoping to get some beeps. I get no beeps. no matter what i do i get no beeps. at no time is my computer beeping at me to say something is incorrect. all fans and lights come on. I am really at a loss

ok so that helps explain it a bit, there is no speaker on the case. i found where to plug in a cable for the chassis speaker on the mobo, didnt find the cable on the case. its an antec case, dont have the model #. I plugged speakers into the mobo, not sure if those would give me the beeps, didnt.

its an amd fx 8000 series chip.
