I have two combo to choose,
First one is AMD FX 8350 + MSI 970 Gaming + SAPPHIRE 7870 HD 2 GB
And another one is
i5-4690 + MSI Z97 PC Mate + Sapphire 7870 HD.
I want only gaming and gaming, nothing else than gaming with my rig.
Please suggest me whether the AMD will do a great job over intel in the field of Gaming only?
By games, i mean games such as BF4 afterwards, AS Unity, COD AW etc.
And i would like to hear some serious words about FX 8350

Solution
In games the Intel will simply out perform the aging 8350. However with an older card like the 7870 there won't be much of a difference in many games since that will be the limit in most games. I would still opt for the Intel so you have the cpu performance for a gpu upgrade later without having to worry about a cpu bottleneck.

LOL

INTEL >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FX CPU's

in terms of everything the intel is a new CPU the fx is a 2012 cpu the fx needs to OC to 5GHZ to match the intel single core performance and that will creat insane heat and power consumption and u will need an expensive motherboard for that OC

OP baby honey,
AMD's lineup against Intel is weak. AMD provides enough compatibility but not enough performance; where intel provides the same compatibility but with INCREASED performance.

and before anyone says i hate AMD i dont im a price to performance man

their GPUs are good in fact they should have more market share but well everyone thinks their drivers are crap and that nvidia is way better

but their CPU's? hell AMD gave up on the CPU market the only new thing we got is the 860K thats it u can buy an AMD CPU and OC right off the bat to keep it alive for a year or two

buy an intel CPU slap it in there for 5-4 years (it is locked if unlocked i wont be surprised if u milked 6 years out of it lol )

and upgrade the GPU later when u want maybe when pascal is out or what every amd has after GCN 1.3

I might get bashed for this but since I'm on a tight budget I just bought a fx-8320 for 130 dollars. I also bought the same motherboard as you. You can overclock with that motherboard and that should extend the life of your 8320. The reason I bought the 8320 is because it was 100 dollars cheaper than your i5 and it is basically and underclocked fx-8350. Slap a slight OC on there and you got yourself and 8350 for 30 dollars cheaper. Octa-core will soon become viable (most likely starting with witcher 3) this will give an 8 core an advantage over the 4 core intel. I know intel performs way better per core but i believe soon they will perform similarly in games. If money is no bother go with the intel. However I'm a budget gamer lol.

argh facepalm maybe if it was a true Octa core yah why not it is 2 cores per cluster finally remembered the word damn it

ppl said YAY BF4 has support for 8 COREs FX WILL DOMINATE FINALLY YAH ! WOOOO not gets da ass handed by a 55 something TDP I3 and that is a pseudo Quad core

maybe the FX will start to be on par with the 2011 2500K clock for clock and that is just a quad core

but haswell or ivy? nah not even close it did get a bit of advantage but u still need 4.7GHZ at least to catch up with intel CPU performance and that is with all 8 threads used against the 4 threads on the I5

but for a 130 usd yah i gusse it is a good choice if u cant afford an i5 FX is good as long as u buy a motherboard that supports High TDP and can get a good cooler later on why not and with all of these u end up with the price of a locked I5
