Hello. I have a wierd problem with my P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 front panel USB 3.0 connector. Well the problem is simple, it doesnt work and when I check it in device manager, I can see this 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)' in properties. Anyway the wierd part is that, after a check, turned that it has no serial number or any kind of information about it, like its there but not really there. I wonder what could be the problem, because I really never seen anything like this and more importantly, can it be fixed somehow?

Well, it is turned on in bios, also the header is connected too, all the drivers are up to date to the latest version in pair with latest firmware. What supprised me was that while I was updating the firmware on the 1st chip, which control the the USB 3.0 on the back, I could get all the neccesery information about it, for example: Serial Number - XXXXXXX, Version - X.X.X.X etc. but the information about the 2nd chip, which control the front USB 3.0 panel was like: Serial Number - N/A, Version - N/A etc. and when I tried to update its firmware, the installation just get stuck at 0%.

Well, to be honest I though that it could be dead too, but why then its recognised in device manager or why I can update its drivers to the latest version? Also infact while I cant use it to plug flash drive in it, I can use it to power my electronic cigarette just fine. I might add, that it was working before, but my bios got corrupted and I had to flash it to an older version with 'FTK', if that information is of any help. It indicate that its dead, but also that its not dead and this totaly confuse me.

There is some misunderstanding here, Im not with the version I had to flash it to, what I did was to flash the bios to the oldest one, then upgrade to the newest one once again, so Im with the newest bios version '3603' for my motherboard.
