Brand new psu and brand new motherboard. When i hit the power button the comp pwrs on and off really quickly then boots up

This is a brand new maximus hero vii. I just had a mobo go bad and got this one installed today. I am looking for any option that can fix this without having to RMA...unless I have to. Brand new power supply evga 1000watt.....The computer boots up perfectly after it powers on and off really quickly.

What you're describing sounds normal to me. Mine will do the same for a very brief moment then boot up. It's going through the brief power-on self-test (POST). All do this.
