well, as the title says...i am looking for a fairly cheap build for both hardcore gaming (priority) and for applying my basic knowledge in 3d softwares like maya...some say go with intel, but can amd cpu do both gaming and 3d rendering? the intel-nvidia combo is slightly or lets say too much for me..but if its what most of you recommend, i'll buy it even if its cost more...

amd combo works fine for less cost, if it is inside the budget i would say go for an intel processor and then you can choose anyone of the graphics card,

does it have any "major" difference if i use amd combo rather than what mostly used intel-nvidia combo? because i have read many forums and they always say "use intel....use nvidia.."...now i am confused if amd combo is, lets say a "good companion" for a hardcore gamer and a 3d renderer...

for the price compared between amd combo and intel nvidia combo

intel is costlier compared to amd while looking for cores , but actually i5(4 core) is better in some and amd 8350(8 core) is better in other , it depends on programs.
gpu wise also its almost same for the cost
everything depends on your budget

hmmm....ok, lets say 700dollars (US)...is that enough for gaming and 3d rendering? if yes, can you please give me information about the parts i needed for the pc building?
