Hi, I was wondering if someone could please ject this build to see if it is all compatible and if I need any extra cables that are needed. This is my first build as well.

Processor: AMD FX-8350 8 Core Black Edition Processor
Motherboard: MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard
PSU: CoolerMaster V650S 80 Plus Gold 650W
GPU: Gigssbyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB OC Edition
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
CPU Cooler:: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 16GB(2x8GB)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO Series 120GB
Case: Corsair Carbide 400R Black Mid-Tower

Thanks!

Solution
get a lot better cpu cooler for your fx 8350
at least the raijintek themis if available
if not the phantek/noctua/cryorig are perfect
and get rid of the cooler master psu and get a real one like...seasonic/xfx/antec hcg-truepower/evga B2-G2/rosewill capstone

Badian,

The build I am going to be building is very similar too yours.
Currently, all the parts work together but for future reference, go to pc part picker and it would say whether the parts are compatible or not, and no, no extra cables are needed.

Thanks I will change my CPU Cooler over to the raijintek and for the PSU, would the Seasonic S12G 80Plus Gold 650W be fine?

Thanks.

That cooler master psu is a good choice.Nothing wrong with the modular V650S.The one i chose in the later build also a good choice.
The cooler should do fine too,but if you can get the rajintek fine too.The one i chose later on is a decent cooler too for the price. The hyper 212 evo is about the same price.
Pccasegear the only shop you can/will buy from? Looked via the pcartpicker and you can come up with a similar intel build for less.
http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/Wq2ZK8
even when changing the case to your choice cheaper.
The gpu chosen has the name of being a r9 270,but in reality is only a lower clocked version of the r9 270X and can easily be overclocked to similar speeds and more,
http://www.overclock.net/t/1449757/gigabyte-r9-270-overclocking-ability
I assume it's for gaming?
If you want to stick with amd is that fine with me,but i wanted to show the different option(s).
Also overclocking with intel for about the same price,
http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/RfgKgs
can do sli/crossfire too.
or a better gpu for a little more,

A bit much info maybe ,but couldn't resist.:D

Thanks for the advice!(More info is better.) This build is mainly for games but the occasional video editing. Pccasegear is the only place I can buy Hardware from(For stupid reasons). In your builds you used the i5 4690k and the i5 4590. Which one of those two is better? With the Power Supply is the one that you chose the same as this one?

Thanks!

For gaming is there little difference when the gpu is what is limiting, the 4690K can be overclocked and can be faster because of that, when video editing is that extra speed a bonus.

Yes that's the one. Also recommended by Rog. ;)
