Hello All

Every time I connect new usb device to my PC with win7 installed, there is device connection sound but no drivers installed or anything.

then I have to manually tell device manager to find the drivers in "c:\windows", then it finds and installs the drivers. It wasn't this way before.

How to resolve this issue

Thanks in advance

PS: one thing you should know, if this is of any concern, that this copy of windows has been moved from an old pc to this one, but even after that automatic driver installation was working fine until recently.

From what I read here, you used the HDD with the win7 from the old PC for this PC w/o reinstalling the OS, right? and I recommend to reinstall the OS. Or at least you need to update the drivers for the MB, in particular, if the MBs have different chipset.
