Hi guys,

I am experiencing much stutter during my playtime on GTA V. I tried having my settings to ALL normal No Vsync - With Vsync, I tried tweaking all settings so I have 1900 / 2047 memory, I tried using the Nvidia Vsync on the control panel but I have NO solution.
I have reinstalled the game once ( which fixed my crashes ) but I can't stand this issue. I need help please

either its the cpu(honestly if it's not now it will be bottlenecking your system) or the bugged vsync, if you haven't heard about it, just disable ingame vsync, it's bugged and makes some very interesting things to happen with performance

his 8350 is fine my specs are lot lower
i have a gtx 760 2gb with custom overclock
AMD Phenom II X4 945 Processor overclocked to 3.6ghz
8gb Ram
Windows 8.1 OS

1080p, very high settings with no vsync,no msaa(fxaa on) depth of field off and no advance settings i get 45 fps-60 very smooth.

And what should I turn down then? And why is that? Is it a bug? Will a patch fix it or I will lag forever?

It's not the CPU...people have been reporting stuttering & huge FPS losses with the recent core i7s, so his FX-8350 is more than sufficient (especially since it's on Rockstar's recommended list).

Make sure you have nVidia's driver update from last week (specifically released for the GTA V issues), & as pointed out earlier try disabling vsynch. Also try turnin off MSAA -- a lot of other posts have mentioned that's causing issues even on more powerful cards like the GTX 970s.

Mod Edit The 8350's cores are fine.

Mod Edit

Your CPU is just as strong as my i5! Nvidia has a small bug with V-sync, And it has probably already been patched. But for now turn off v-sync or do what this guy did, http://motoringcrunch.com/news/gta-5-pc-how-to-achieve-smoother-graphics-nvidia-only/10011400/
