grand theft auto 5 FPS

My System is

AMD FX 8350 Stock Speeds

16GB 4 GB Hyper Fury X 1866Mhz x4

Samsung Evo 850 250 GB SSD

XFX R9 280 Double D 3 GB

MSI 970 Gaming MB

NZXT x Kraken 61 cpu Cooler

Every game depending on the settings i always get 60 FPS and 90 FPS but with GTA 5 at 1080p on a 24" Monitor

MSXA at 4x
FSAA on


It only average of 30 FPS but it 100% playable no dropped frames. No lagg just wondering if GTA 5 is normal to only run at 30 FPs

As a FX8xxx is not as powerful as a i7EE yes it be another 10-20 less FPS especially with FSAA, MSXA on and having large populations, distance view etc. all to the right on the slide bar. You would need to throttle down to High to achieve the levels you want, not on whatever settings (ultra?) you were putting it on.

I fixed the Issue I had the Game at ULTRA by default and I lowered my Setting on GTA to FXSA to 4x and MXSA to 4x and i put on all high quality shadowing and everything..

When I aint doing anything i get average 40 FPS to 60 FPS it all depends on game and where i am.. But at some points I got 156 FPS on GTA 5 that impressive. it was common mistake and WRONG THE FX 8350 is still really good chip for it price.. I saw several REview and VS against 4770k and it kills the scores for Streaming ! kills it. R9 280 is a amazing card. I hate Intel and Nvidia Fan boys. I like both but for the price and what it can do Nvidia and intel are way over priced !
