Where to download bios update for intel board?

I have a dp55m01 motherboard from intel. The tower currently has no OS installed so I'm trying to find a site where I can download the most recent bios update to a flash drive(via other tower obviously)

Doing this because whenever I try to install windows 7 or 8.1 the install always freezes at the very start when their respective logos appear and begin loading. Hoping a bios update/flash will fix the problem

IOf that MB is from a Dell computer or other computer manufacturer complete system, the BIOS might be locked. They usually are and are not very updatable.

What are the other components?

i7-860
wd 1tb green
basic optical drive
mouse keyboard etc.

There's a gpu of some sort in a pcie slot and a usb port add-on card in another slot. I just got this tower for free from a recycle so not sure which card it is yet.

First try setting optimized defaults in BIOS and see what happens. After that check the memory speed and timings to make sure they are correct. Make changes if needed. Save and exit.

I went to bios and did an overall load defaults. Seeing if that helps now. Already unplugged all ram aside from one stick. They're mixed and matched two sets but they were the ones that came with the tower from Dell, so I would imagine they're perfectly time
