I recently started receiving notifications from Microsoft windows that my SanDisk SSD U100 24GB hard drive is failing. I did a quick internet search on the subject and performed most of the steps to check and attempt to repair the SSD. I ran a crystal life check which informed me that my SSD drive was good and I also ran a SSD Life scan which estimates the lists my drive health as excellent and a life span of 9 years. I am not sure what to do from here because the notification keeps popping up. If anyone could help me understand my problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Tom's Hardware, flbaker!

This is a very unfortunate situation indeed, I hope you have been doing regular backups of the data on your SSD. However, I don't think there's much else you can do if the SSD is failing, I recommend contacting your computer (OEM) or SSD manufacturer (if you bought it separately from the computer) tech support for assistance with this. If the product is still within the warranty period, they should be able to provide you with a replacement once you send your RMA request.

Good luck!
