cant open .jpg extension, invaild file

hi guys, since few days ago i took pictures from my camera and upload it to my computer and the photos that i took few days ago was appears to be corrupted or invaild format.

tried use third party software and repair tools but no avail to solve this problem. give me this error invalid file but extension is jpg

Were the pictures stored on the cameras internal memory or on a memory card?

yes the pictures are stored in the memory card, i copy the pictures and paste them in my computer! i need help!

My guess would be that there is an issue with memory card and the files were corrupted. Are you trying to read them from the card or have you tried copying them off the card into a folder on your computer?

yes after i took out the memory card from my phone, the corrupted pictures inside the sd card when missing. fortunately i copy the corrupted images to my computer. either way now on my phone and computer i am unable to view the image

Unfortunately, I'm going to say it's pretty likely the memory card is bad. Sounds like the file system index was created on the phone in relation to the pictures you took, but the memory card never fully wrote the data.

Not really. It sucks, but sometimes that's the way it goes. If the files had been fully written on a stable media and THEN something had failed, it might be possible to recovery some of it using data recovery software, but when it's written to corrupted media to start with there is little to nothing you can do.

I'd definitely replace the memory card with a new one and be sure in the future to either keep it in the camera or away from any sources of magnetism or moisture.

aww the pictures are important to me. yup going to replace the card soon.. argh i still have the corrupted images files is there a alternative solutions?

You can try one of these, but of course there's no guarantees. It might work, it might not. Or it might partially work. You'll just have to try and see.

I'm sorry to hear it. I've lost data before myself that was highly important so I know the feeling. The only other option, if it was INCREDIBLY important, would be to try a professional data recovery service, but as I said, if the data was bad to start with there probably isn't much even they could do.
