I recently reinstalled windows on my rig. I installed all the essential drivers for my motherboard, and GeForce Experience. The gpu I have is The GTX 550ti. There is no video output from it through the DVI port, and I know it isn't broken because it was fine earlier today. The DVI port on my MB does have an output and is working. I tried disabling the integrated graphics for my CPU (i5 3570k) in the device manager, but that did not help. I have no idea why it won't work but any help is appreciated.

Solution
few things to check..one is the bios settings..make sure it seays peg/pci first and muilt monitor is on for now so you dont lose video..install the intel chipset drivers from the mb vendor. on reboot if a vga device found or the gpu does not show up in device manager. turn the pc off. unplug power from the wall let the power drain from the mb then see if the video cand is lose or not seated. (this one got me on a friend pc last week). card would work but not seen from windows...the card was not fully seated into the video card slot.
