Hello every one i need some help debating the purchase of The Witcher Wild Hunt. I know what your thinking why even think about it! Just shove money at the damn people already. Well here is the deal. There has been some damn great games the last year with great story potential and they had all of that lost due to poor optimization. Even on the console side of things unity literately fried my room mates console, and i mean melted it in butter and set the damn thing on fire like a mash mellow in the end Sony said poor game optimization killed it and i'm honestly not shocked do to the fact that the consoles got like 15 frames at best during the launch. I have one of the best AMD builds possible and I'm scared to sink 60 bucks into this game due to the recent track record of the gaming market. Here is my build before i go on all custom.

CPU: AMD FX 8350 black edition.

Cooled by: Corsair h100i in a push pull configuration.

Case: NZXT H440 because it's red and had very nice cable management options.

RAM: Two 4g sticks of ddr3 1600 ram with a 9 cass latency.

MOBO: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2

GPU: AMD R9 295x2. I also got a amd R9 270 sitting in the closet not sure if the extra cross fire would be worth it.

Now this card is a beast don't get me wrong, but AMD has been really, really, frustrating with support for this card. To add to the pain ubisoft and others have made no commitment to helping out team red. So unfortunately a lot of this card potential gets lost with both poor optimization and driver support. Do you think it would be a gamble to buy the witcher now? It is on sale. I'm not entirely sure and i just cant convince my self to buy another PC game after watch dogs, because my judgment for the gaming industry has been horrible except for not buying hardline score one for me. I've just been playing realm reborn because the devs don't screw me over there. I'm not sure how the launch for GTA 5 was because i'm scared to look up the track record for the pc launch after playing the console version. What is every ones advice on this, because i can not make up my mind. I have both consoles as well but i really want to buy this one on my PC to add to my steam library. I also don't want to fight to make it work and play on max settings my monitors not 4k because I'm waiting for free sync 4k monitors. Help :(

Solution
Your system should be able to handle it easily. Your GPU is one of the best performing gaming gpus around right now. You might get slightly bottlenecked by your CPU but there wouldn't be a lot of FPS drop at all.

Also, you cannot crossfire the 295x2 with a 270.

I agree , game will work well with the system. I have similar configurations and have ordered the game at https://www.instant-gaming.com/fr/268-acheter-cle-steam-the-witcher-3-traque-sauvage/ .
