Upgrading RAM of my PC

My motherboard model is Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3. & I am using a single 4gb stick of XMS3. Model is CMX4GX3M1A1600C9. But right now i want to upgrade my PC Ram. But I cant find any XMS3 model in the market. All are saying that this model is discontinued in India. They are suggesting me to buy the 1X4gb Vengeance Ram. I want to know can my PC support this Ram Including the XMS3 on board ? Please help me out. I already waste 6 month by searching XMS3. I have to upgrade my Ram Count as fast as possible.

there is no assurance it would work. Same make & model of RAM sticks can an often do have
compatibility issues. So, buy a 2x4g kit, it will have been tested to work together and your mobo
supports dual channel RAM so you will optimize performance.

Thank u guys for ur replies. But the problem is smwhr else. The XMS3 is out of market here. I wont mind to kick it off from my PC if The new Vengeance model support my Configuration. I need to know this, that to my PC support Corsair Vengeance.

Your system will support the vengeance models.

This is what Asus specifies on their site:

Dual Channel memory architecture
*AMD AM3 100 and 200 series CPU support up to DDR3 1066MHz
**Due to OS limitation, when installing total memory of 4GB capacity or more, Windows® 32-bit operation system may only recognize less than 3GB. Hence, a total installed memory of less than 3GB is recommended.
