I have an Asus P8Z77-V LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard which supports both 4-way SLi or 4-way CrossfireX graphic cards. I would like to increase the performance of my computer and thought I would add a graphics card. I have 16GB of RAM, a core i5 CPU and OS is loaded on a SSD. I don't play much games mostly high def videos I would like to connect to multiple screens.
I don't want to have to wrestle much with the install just want something I can put in that is reliable that will work out of the box but don't know where to even start searching as I'm not familiar with which type of card to start searching under SLi or Crossfire... Any help for this noob would be appreciated.

Why on earth would you want 4-way SLI or CF if you don't play games much? Get a single strong card instead. The Titan X is the top dog right now, and if you are looking to throw money away, it is expensive too :p

SLI/CF are not as plug and play friendly as a single GPU setup. 4-way SLI/CF is far less so.
