Refurb 780 ti or wait for R9 300

Hi guys,
I was waiting for a while on the r9 300 series and I don't mind waiting some more. But i recently stumbled upon this in newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487103&cm_re=780_ti-_-14-487-103-_-Product

I thought it was a great deal and its pretty much the same as a gtx 980. What do you guys think I should do. I game at 1080p on 60hz monitor.

up to you im pretty sure the 980 cost will drop after the R9 380X is here

for me i might switch my 7950 for a GTX985 if they ever make one and buy a 1440P g-sync 144hz monitor

Do you think the 980 will ever reach the sub 400 market? And how much more powerful do you think the 380x is going to be. I'm stuck with my 650ti boost and its ok for now but I have manage to scrape a max of 400 for a new card.

btw what are your full system specs?

well i think the 960 wont drop in price the 970 might drop to 300

and the 980 maybe to 450 or 425 hell maybe 400 if we are lucky

I really do hope the 980 gets to 400. Immediate buy for me!

to be realistic i would say maybe 440 with MIR and stuff 400 if we are lucky

also the 980 gives u 1 more GB of vram and scales well with OC

Thank you both for your help. With so many things to choose I think I might just hold off and see what team red has to offer. Anyways school doesn't close till June.
