I just got my VGA to DVI-D connector in the mail. I hooked it all up and windows wont detect the second monitor. Also i just looked, my video card supports 3 displays so im not sure what is going on here.
Vga is an anaolg signal. Dvi-D is a pure Digital signal (dvi-a is analog and dvi-i is both).
So unless this adapter you bought is an "active" converter then its not going to work.
