I'm looking at getting a new PC in the near future and was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions for a gaming build.

I expect to run games like GTA V on high settings with a constant 60 fps. It's just a standard I'm used to. Cheaper is better, but I don't necessarily have a budget. I'm willing to take a look at anything.

Approximate Purchase Date: Near the end of may or possibly coming into june. No rush.

Budget Range: $1000-2000 I don't really want to go over $2500, but that shouldn't be a problem.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: I game for sessions of about 3-5 hours and also use the internet for school and whatnot.

Parts Not Required: I'd like for you to include all hardware just so I could get a general idea of what I'd be paying if I don't use parts from my old PC. I do have a GTX 970 and a 750 watt PSU.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: N/A

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: I prefer intel CPUs, but I'm not all that big of a fanboy.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: Currently 1440x900, planning on buying a monitor that supports 1920x1080.

Thanks!

well if you already have a 970 and a PSU, that gives you headroom to spend on more things, like a better monitor, and possibly a second gpu, although maybe a better mobo or just peripherals is better. But yeah you don't have to spend the remaining money, cuz maybe when a better single GPU comes out, you'll want that and you'll use the remaining money to get the GPU. But go do yourself a favor and get a Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming GT or an Asus Maximus VII Hero
