First, i`m sorry if this is the wrong category.

Second, i have a questionable problem, guys... if i install the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver (even the latest one - v. 3.0.5.69), my mobile modem (stick internet) Vodafone K4607 it will not be acknowledged after the restart on any of the available ports, not in USB2, nor in USB3.
It took me a while to figure it out. If i uninstall the driver, the modem starts. I tried several times to be sure.

Strange as it is, i need to mention that very other peripheral i use has not encounter this malfunction or incompatibility.

I use windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. If you need more information, please ask me.

Hello "And....etc..",

Do you also have the current driver for the Vodafone?

Install each driver separately. After each installation go into Device Manager/Properties and look at the Advanced Settings and Resources. Print out the screens for reference purposes.

The intstall both drivers together and again check the properties via Device Manager.

I would not expect a conflict but that is what your problem description seems to indicate.

Hi, Ralston, thanks for the reply.

In the meantime i did a fresh installation of windows 7 and now everything works. At least, for today. I`ll let you know and give you some screens if the problem persist. I hope not.
