I just built a PC and was wondering since I installed new OS to a SSD and it is my only drive at the moment, can I use my old drive (WD blue, sata of course) to which I have previous Windows installed, as a storage drive to all the games and what not? Meaning that can I just plug the drive in and maybe format it or something like that. No big deal if I have to buy new HDD, just wondering about this.

Welcome to Tom's Hardware, iJNK!

Congrats on the new build! :)
No, you don't have to buy a new HDD at all. Just make sure you don't have any important data on the drive that is not backed up.
And here is a tutorial from our KB that might help you with the re-formatting of the WD Blue: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=Dp6jT5

Since I believe it's going to be your secondary storage drive, here's another link that explains how to change the default Downloads location, so you won't max out on the SSD storage: http://www.mstoic.com/how-to-change-downloads-folder-location-in-windows-7/

Best of luck! Hope this was helpful! :)
