What do I need to check for when replacing my PCB on my Seagate harddrive ?

I have a Seagate hard drive that my computer doesn't like to boot from anymore. The previous question I asked shows what was wrong with it :

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2615659/fix-internal-hardrive.html

It seems as if there's power running to it as i can feel the discs spinning (like magnetized), that is when I connect it to the main PSU . However when I connect it to my SATA-USB connector its as if it doesnt get any power at all. The pins are slightly bent as you can see in the images of the other question, so maybe not all the pins are connected ? :/

After a few hours of trying and researching the problem Ive decided to change the PCB on the hard drive. My questions is basically, how exact of a copy do I need the new PCB to be to my current HD PCB ?

Here are the HD specs :

Model: ST1000DM003
PN: 9YN162-306
FW: CC4H
DATE: 13022
SN: Z1D1V66K

If anyone can help me out it'll be much appreciated, also if someone thinks i shouldn't do the swap let me know as Im only doing it as i dont know what else the problem could be

Thank you

Looking at your previous thread certainly a PCB replacement should fix the issue, you need the same exact PCB for this to work, at least that's what is stated over and over in guides where people replace their PCB when it's got burned in order to retrieve their data, so make sure to buy another HDD that is the same model as yours.

Cheers for the response. Ive sent my PCB off to www.hdd-parts.com where they'll put my BIOS chip onto a new working PCB. Hopefully this will solve the issue :))
