About a month ago I purchased a computer from Cyberpowerpc. I saw some bad reviews out there but decided to go with them anyway(still not sure if this was the right decision). After receiving the PC right out of the box, it would not boot. After uninstalling and reinstalling windows, and doing some trouble shooting, it seemed that whenever I enabled SLI the computer would not boot after shutting down and restarting. I contacted tech support and they said it must be the SLI bridge since it would boot when it was disconnected or SLI was disabled. They shipped me out a new SLI bridge which I just received yesterday and guess what, same problem. At this point the only thing to do would be ship the computer back to be repaired by them in California(I live in PA) I would really like to avoid that so I am hoping someone can help me figure this out.
What's really strange about the it is that I have tested both cards individually and they work in both PCI slots, reinstalled windows, reset BIOS through battery, updated drivers etc.... When I enable SLI the computer will run no problem and I know SLI is working as I have done 3DMark tests with SLI enabled and got a score of around 12000. If I reboot though windows will go to a black screen and not load. However, if I disable SLI before booting the computer will load without a problem, and I can re enable SLI and be off to the races. I have also attempted to disable onboard graphics which did not work either. Some people have suggested the Powersupply however I can run games with SLI enabled without a problem. Please help!!!!!
